Ludicrous amounts of magic resist, full stamina in combination with the crest shield can nullify even pursuer's. Due to low dex and mild strength it can be used most effectively as a buff-blade if you are so inclined, without the buff the weapon damage over all will be low. When blocking you can bring any magic to it's knee's, even if things go south moonlight has your back.
