Just a little build i made awhile back around the time i first started playing dark souls, works quite well when used right. i use the sunlight straight sword with gold pine resin for a hard hitting offense(sometimes go hypermode if im feeling bored.) its fast and while its not long range it sweeps to the sides more then a katana, and doesn't break as easy. i use the halberd with leo(lion) ring when playing a tad bit on the defensive, does wonders against aggressive opponents with mid-low poise with somewhat slow weapons. the iron round shield isnt the best in stability but it reflects heavy hits unlike the normal medium shield while allowing you to still parry, helps alot if you dont like to swap gear to often. while its not the best build it gets the job done.
this build takes some skill to use tho, so just don't down vote it if it doesn't work the first few times you deploy it.
this build might be better if you add magic to it if you rely heavily on spells for buffs, but the results may vary.
