My try at making a viable archer build.
Bit of divine to fit the build theme and for TWoP, which helps keep opponents at range. Karmic justice against fast hitting opponents in tight places keeps them from driving you into a corner, and replenishment for open areas where you can kite to help keep you topped off.
Stamina regeneration helps keep you moving, since without poise, getting hit usually means death. One of the biggest perks of the bow is that you can roll cancel it, and this way your never caught without stamina for it.
Feel free to swap out the Cloranthy ring for ninja flip, and the Grass crest shield for, well, any other of the same weight. There's a ton of options there, but I'd lean toward Sanctus since it'll be mostly on your back anyway and stacks with regeneration. Wouldn't drop the Hawk Ring, since the extra range on the composite bow helps quite a bit on your damage, and fits the theme.
Also, feel free to switch out heal, but as I jolly co-op quite a bit, I need it to not burn through humanity.
Rounded off with Poison throwing knife for quick ranged damage (for stopping heals, buffs, and the like) and poison option outside of arrows, leaving you to equip sniper arrows for when you need extra range. Dung pies to stack toxic on that, and blooming moss in case you got poisoned or toxic yourself. For PvP I swap out the Estus for Lloyd's Talisman. Blocking heals and stacking poison puts a lot of pressure on an opponent and often causes mistakes.
I've had mixed lock with PvP, but I can say I've had a blast with the effort. PvE, this is actually one of the easier builds for playing. Between fast ranged damage and TWoP, most mobs are a joke.
