Abuse the high riposte/backstab damage and insanely wide hitbox. The wolf ring can be traded out for DWGR, Bellowing (for 39 extra magic buff damage), Slumbering (if you don't want to keep reapplying the buff), or any of the resistance rings as needed. I like the 61 poise in case I miss a parry or two or take some attacks getting in backstab range; with the hornet ring taking a few attacks for a crit is well worth it.
