Farm late-game content, help friends, kill strangers. It doesn't matter with this build!
You can switch out your Hawk Ring for pretty much anything else. I would recommend using the Covetous Gold Serpent Ring if you're farming enemy drops, or the Dark Wood Grain Ring if you need some extra assistance kiting enemies.
Use Hidden Body to evade enemies, or switch it for a spell of your preference.
