Level 10 Spellsword built for supplemental buffs mainly. This build is primarily intended for fashion, roleplay and aesthetic purposes, rather than practical ones. Low SL is for some challenge, but also some interesting and co-op.
Swapping Moonlight Butterfly Horn for Balder Side Sword, and adding a second Oolicile catalyst, to the L2 slot, or switching it from R2 to L2 is to conserve weight limit for mid-roll. You could leave a catalyst in both R2 and L2 slots for convenience of switching, but would require changing armor with 0.5 lighter value.
Alternatively if you wanted to act more as a dedicated spell caster using the Crown of Dusk, you have a lot more weight to work with, and can equip both weapons to R1 snd R2, Catalyst in L2 and switch Strong Magic Shield for another spell of your choice.
Great Magic Shield and Moonlight Butterfly Horn are used to clear trash, while Balder Side Sword and Strong Magic Sword are for vanquishing bosses, as well as magic-resistant enemies. I tend to only use Dragon Body only for killing bosses, or solo play, as co-op can make enemy behavior a bit more unpredictable unless you have a host that wants to allow you to stay back and deal the dps while safe.
Shields used are Crest Shield by default, but swap to Dragon Crest or Grass Crest situationally. These shields were picked over better shields for their appearance as well as similar weight.
One point was put into Attunement for a fourth spell slot, alternatively this point can be placed in Int to use the offensive spells Great Heavy Soul Arrow (useful for pve,) Dark Bead, Dark Orb. The utility spells Remedy, Resist Curse also become available. Personally I chose not to use these as I wanted to stick with a pure sorcery aesthetic, and for more casts of what I find to be more useful in general.
