Notes from author
Rumors tell of fiendish brigands who seeks fallen warriors like carrion birds, desecrating their bodies and stealing from them to use their arms and armours to raid others, sometimes even carving body parts to decorate their armours, which have given them the name of Carrion Warriors.
One of these fiendish Carrion Warriors is the solitary Katla,
A brutish undead who seeks a way to harness the power of Undeath, to gain immortality.
Katla shows no honor or respect for others, nor fights with it, and gaining her favor and respect is indeed an accomplishment,
for she trusts no one, and will always remain ready to defend herself from backstabbers and her so-called "allies".
If she needs anything or any assistance, she will force others to help her, give her what she needs, or outright kill them to steal what she needed of their corpse, be it items, armour, weapons, or even their fingers and flesh.
As harsh as such a bandit's life may be, she has still survived as an undead far longer than many others, carrying on whilst others have fallen, and even though she has butchered the innocent, is it not a price worth paying if the reward is to continue breathing?
