Notes from author
. Whips are quick and difficult for most players to predict and dodge but most importantly they cannot be parried but are still capable of parrying, allowing me to put adequate pressure on my opponent(s).
. Lots of space available for a variety of weapon moveset at my disposal which allows me to be ready for many different situations.
. Composite Bow is so I have an option for ranged combat but sometimes I'll swap it out for the Pyro Flame, allowing me more versatility in my ranged capabilities. Great Fireball can also be cancelled, allowing me to bait players into trying to Roll BS me but not expecting me to cancel my cast and counter their counter.
. 42 Poise is adequate for PVP since you can tank most light attacks which allows you to setup parry r1 spammers. Anything heavier will be sufficiently slow enough to either toggle first hit-parry or just sight parry alone.
. Dragon Head allows me to use a quick and ranged attack in order to put pressure on my opponent(s). I would recommend that you resist using this attack on cornered opponents and instead try to get close and dead angle for considerably higher damage, however if you find yourself in an enclosed space where your weapons will bounce off walls, then by all means stack the dragon breath attack with your pyromancy spells.
. With a free ring slow I am capable of many different ways of attacking. I generally run with DWGR since it suits my aggressive playstyle. But I often switch to the hornet ring whenever I feel like I will be able to get an easy backstab and land an easy parry. In the past I have also switched to RTSR when low on health and then used either my whip or my bow to finish the fight.
. Finally, by being in the Forest Hunters and having the option to invade using Cracked Red Eye Orbs, I am capable of invading at the meta level just about anywhere I'd like to, but I find that the forest is about the only active PVP hotspot these days.
