Backstab focused build, but even with insane amounts of damage from a backstab/riposte, you're pretty much dead if caught in a combo. But that can be prevented if you play cowardly.(hey, you can do it, no one has the right to judge you.) Just invade and hide to get a backstab when the host is near you and unaware. Or if you're good at PvP and can dodge and get backstabs easily, this shit will get you at least 1600 damage (when buffed with DMB)per backstab. You can be a twat and backstab lock someone, IF they don't die already with the first backstab.
The high faith is for DMB scaling purposes only.
But hey, your character, your rules. If you invade and fuck up, just fucking run and use a mushroom or what not and try again later.
If them cunts can backstab lock you, you can mushroom4life.
