Once a loyal servant to Nito, he returns to Lordran to learn the secrets of the sunlight covenant in order to collect wisdom for nito and to become the next Gravelord and fullfill his duty as Nito´s descendant, which is to kindle the flame, because without life there wouldn´t be death.
