One of the last living apprentices of Artorias the abysswalker. He, as all of Artorias´ apprentices was told that Artorias has died on his way to fullfill his duty. But that didn´t stop him from searching for his master. He eventually found him, taken by the abyss and near insanity. Instead of fighting him or reporting back to the royal family he stayed with him and trained with him, learning the long forgotten arts of the abyss. He remains loyal to this day and prevents intruders from revealing the well kept secrets of the abyss...
