Backstory:
The Iron Golem was created to be a more mobile version of the bigger Iron Golem that guards Sen's Fortress. This version of the Iron Golem roamed around, slaying hollows and undead to protect Gwynevere. However, the human inside of the suit soon was cursed with the Darksign and had the armor stripped away before being thrown into the Undead Asylum in a brigand's armor to make them look like a bad person. They soon escape from the asylum and seek the ability to return to doing what they did: protecting Gwynevere. They make their way to Sen's fortress where they have to kill the Iron Golem to progress. After killing the Golem, they head back to Firelink Shrine only to notice a person in the aqueduct. After speaking to them, the Iron Golem realized that Domhnall found the Iron Golem's suit of armor in a pile quite recently and is now selling it. After being reunited with their armor, they return to Anor Londo where they slay Ornstein and Smough before talking to Gwynevere to resume service as an undead protector.

The Iron Golem is a pretty OP build,
considering the fact that I have a build that IS the Iron Golem in Dark Souls Remastered. The main playstyle is to cast iron flesh and two hand your Golem Axe. Next is to let the enemy hit you and then they get staggered. Use this to your advantage by chopping them into bits with the axe. If they get too far, then one hand the Golem Axe and shoot some wind at the hostile. Make sure (after you cast Iron Flesh) to make your left hand empty again by switching slots to L2 so you can parry if needed. The R2 slot shouldn't have anything in it unless you want something to be there.
