This is a build geared toward pvp/pve. PVE, i would mostly recommend a shield in the offhand instead of the whip. in PVP, GMW and power within will literally make your claws insane. Poise at 77, you can withstand any 1 hit in the game. Including 2hd ultra greatsword. Notched whip, can penetrate shields, and do bleed. Great offhand for the claw in PVP. Not to mention... it parries. Claw Riposte = Sex. Go Wolverine, Hulk out with Power Within, then add GMW to dumpster all fools who try you. use the notched whip as poke for pansys who dont want to fight you close. They will eventually take enough damage from it, to have to commit. Easy parrys on big weapons... and GGs with Claw Riposte. alternatively, low poise nubbies will be stunlocked to death by the claw. Regardless of how much health they have. Rolling R1/DWGR on the claw is super sex by the way. Gauntlet of Thorns also adds damage to all fist weapons. Death by Rolls. Completely avoid the R2 of claw in pvp. its Doodoo Butter. r1/rolling r2/jumping r2 for days.
