From birth Rayven was extremely gifted in both the arts of sorcery and miracles no doubt a product of her parentage. Her father Aphelios a distinguished Blade of the Darkmoon and knight of Oolacile, and her mother Beatrice whose research into the arcane helped produce spells that would later make the scholars of the Vinheim Dragon School gaze in wonder at the light based spells of this fallen land. After Oolacile's fall Rayven would be taken into the care of the Fire Keeper of Anor Londo who had the utmost respect for her father and trained her into becoming a Blade of the Darkmoon herself.
