This build isn't meant to be a 1-shot spell build, it's a generalists int build which utilizes melee more than spells.
Your spell choices are up to you. If you want to go to NG+3 for 4 Crystal Soul Spears, got for it. I like CHSM for harass and GSA for it's speed. CSS is for if someone's casting a slow pyromancy I can hard punish it. CMW is for any dex weapon that I would want to buff.(also falchion to fight back against DMB) I tend to only use CMW for PvE. Remember to use Tin Crystallization Catalyst for your buff if you decide to go with it. This is my first ever intelligence build in DS1 so it's probably bad, but I've enjoyed it so far. Only ever used my quality build in the original but decided to try some new stuff with the remaster.
