Swap to Thief Mask after losing your extra health from Mom, or chaos gargoyle halberd + hornet (you'll have to swap out your sanctus for a small leather shield) if you want to BS fish.
Easy for DS3 players to use because you win by abusing the Furysword's stupid range, whiff punishing on reaction, and catching rolls.
You can swap to a falchion if you're really worried about people fishing and don't want to waste effort learning how to counter BS. Just don't forget to toggle if you're fighting a kumo. Against a gold tracer just backpedal and occasionally throw out an R1. You have regen and your opponent most likely does not.
Against estoc turtles or pike/demon's spear/sks just run up to them and pivot. You can poise through a 2HR1. Watch out for kick into gc/bf. Remember to have fun at the expense of other people's.
If you're feeling particularly spicy you can cast replenishment with the sun princess ring on for an extra 2 hp/second, or 120 total. Casting it on top of those little white circles that appear on the ground also boosts the regen, and it stacks with the sun princess effect.
