Feel free to switch equipment around, this isn't set in stone. The heater shield and Sanctus are good shield replacements.
Swap weapons around for your favorites.
If you need more weight, switch the sage robe for the dingy robe.
Swap wrath of the gods for whatever miracle you like better, like useful buffs such as replenishment or great magic barrier.
It's a pretty simple and straightforward build. No need for 27 strength as the difference in damage is pretty negligible (a mere 14 points on the claymore for example) and 24 is the requirement for some heavier weapons like the zweihander.
A little try-hardish though probably but meh.
